Roof replacement with Owens Corning Woodcrest Shingle

Total Protection Roof Replacement

Total protection means sealing your roof from wind-driven rain, and areas of your roof where water and ice have a tendency to collect or flow.

Titanium PSU-30

We use super strong, self-adhering Titanium PSU-30 leak barrier products in valleys, chimneys, and skylights to completely seal your roof at these critical areas.

Underlayment

Next, we’ll install the latest generation of roofing underlayment, a durable, synthetic layer of protection under your shingles. This new product lays flat, is resistant to buckling and splitting under heat and humidity, and provides a uniform base for your shingles.

Shingles

We’ll then lay a course of starter shingles on all eaves and rakes to prevent edge penetration by dripping or flowing water. The starter shingles also build the edge of your roof, providing a finished appearance. We use special starter shingle products specifically designed for the starter row.

High Performance Meets Curb Appeal

We offer a virtually limitless range of laminated, fiberglass-reinforced shingles that incorporate advanced sealants to promote wind uplift resistance, while maintaining flexibility.

You can choose shingles that mimic rustic wood shake, natural slate, or designer variations that provide bold contrast and deep dimension, or warm, clean, and inviting textures to match the architecture of your home and your personal preference.

Not only do they increase the character and curb appeal of your home, they also provide excellent protection to your roof’s peak. Owens Corning™ Shingles provide an important finishing element to your roof.

When you have a Total Protection Roofing System, you have the opportunity to increase your protection with one of several Owens Corning Roofing System Limited Warranties, which extend the coverage of your roofing components and may even provide workmanship coverage.

Wood shakes roof

Wood Shakes and Wood Shingles

Natural and durable, the world’s most enduring roofing material was made by nature. Cedar. For years manufacturers have tried to duplicate the natural beauty and durability of cedar shakes and shingles.

While imitation is flattering, it does not approach the integrity of the original. Cedar is prized for its natural beauty and durability in tough climate conditions. For hundreds of years cedar shakes and shingles have protected homes from harsh conditions.

Metal Roof Systems

We install metal roofs and recommended different metal roof solutions depending on your unique needs. We use products from manufacturers such as Taylor Metal Products, among others. We offer all metal roof products. However, the most common metal roof we install uses a snap and lock panel system.

Metal roofs are durable, fire retardant, and low maintenance. They are energy efficient as metal reflects heat and blocks its transfer into the house.

The initial cost of a premium metal residential roof replacement can be higher than other roofing materials, but if you calculate the lifecycle cost, a metal roof can prove to be a better investment than some other types of roofing.

We are proud to offer the Versa-Span™ metal roofing system, which combines the strength of steel fluted pans with a lock-action rib design. Concealed fasteners are leak-proof and enable installation on low pitched roofs. The long-length roof panels are strong, durable, and versatile and come in a variety of colors and finishes.

Easy Lock™ Standing Seam System

The ultimate in a Standing Seam pattern. Easy Lock™ is appreciated for both its beauty and function. The panels provide one foot wide coverage with concealed fastening screws and a 1-1/8″ high snap-together lock seam, and lengths up to 50 feet. This system allows application down to 1/2″ in 1 foot pitch with fasteners being applied to the pre-slotted flange along one side of the panel. The next panel easily snaps and locks over the flange area, completely concealing the flathead screws, and provides a secure roof in winds up to 140 mph.

Most metal roofing uses exposed fasteners with a neoprene seal. However, expansion/contraction avoids the fastener holes and sunlight shrinks the washer. Hence, exposed fastener roofing will eventually leak. The roofing panels designed by Taylor Metal Products have concealed fasteners which are not exposed and cannot leak – ever. The fasteners are applied through a pre-slotted flange on the side of the panel. The next panel easily snaps and locks over the flange area, completely concealing the screws, and providing a secure roof in winds up to 140 mph. No clips, special closures, or mechanical seaming are used. Where “dry” is important, a concealed fastener is a must!

The exclusive Easy-Lock™ system incorporates an air space on the snap leg side between inner and outer ribs. This prevents water siphoning by wind pressure and capillary action. The resulting ventilated dry seam eliminates joint corrosion and fastener rust out.

VersaSpan for Commercial Applications by Taylor Metal Products

Versa-Span™ system is a strong, durable, versatile, long length roof panel. It combines the strength of steel fluted pans and a lock-action rib design. Which together with concealed fasteners, enables installation on low pitched roofs.

  • 12˝ to 18˝ coverage options available
  • 24 and 22 Tru-Gauge™
  • Floating clip system: allows for expansion/contraction of panels in longer lengths
  • Onsite roll forming available for long lengths

A metal roof is a great investment for any business. Metal roofing materials are significantly more durable than other commercial roofing options. Monthly energy costs, maintenance costs, and resale value are all things to keep in mind when replacing a roof.
